Blackpool Pleasure Beach introduces entry fee

An entrance fee of £5 has been implemented at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, this is the first time such a charge has been made in the entire park’s history.

Guests who have previously enjoyed free entry to the famous park, will now have to buy either an unlimited ride wristband or a £5 pass - Buy Blackpool Pleasure Beach Tickets

The Freedom Pass includes access to the Pleasure Beach Express Train, Chinese Puzzle Maze and to certain shows.

Millions of people have been attracted and enjoyed the free entry to the famous park each year since it opened in 1896, the new charges were put into effect from Saturday 7th February 2009 to coincide with the opening of the park for the first weekend of the 2009 season.
